The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) won two prestigious awards at the Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) 2025, the world’s largest military airshow held from July 18 to 20 at RAF Fairford in the UK.

The awards won by PAF were:

Concours d'Elegance Trophy for the historic C-130 Hercules transport aircraft, recognized for its exceptional presentation, striking “Eyes in the Skies” livery, and impressive static display that symbolized vigilance and modern air power.

Spirit of the Meet Trophy for the indigenously produced JF-17 Thunder Block-III fighter jet, awarded for its remarkable flight performance, eye-catching livery, and a nonstop flight to the UK enabled by a technically challenging mid-air refueling operation supported by a PAF IL-78 tanker aircraft.

In a startling revelation, U.S. President Donald Trump claimed that five [Indian] fighter jets were shot down during a heated military escalation between India and Pakistan, both nuc-lear-armed nations.

Globally renowned singer Atif Aslam and his wife have once again extended their generous support to the JDC Free Diagnostic Lab, donating Rs. 10 million to help continue free blood testing services for underprivileged patients across Karachi, interior Sindh, and even Balochistan.

This is not their first act of generosity, earlier, the couple had donated Rs. 20 million to the same lab, reinforcing their commitment to public welfare.

JDC General Secretary Zafar Abbas expressed deep gratitude, calling the donation a “huge support in these difficult times.”
