Theongoing talks between Pakistan Tehreek Einsaf (PTI) and Pakistan Muslim League Quaid (PML-Q) over adjusting seats for the upcoming general election have ended.

During the negotiations, PML-Q called for seat adjustments of 15 seats in the National Assembly and 30 seats in the Punjab Provincial Assembly.

Sindh province is requiring visitors from China to be tested for Covid-19 after an explosion of cases in China, the state health ministry said on Thursday.

The National Bank of Pakistan (SBP) will start issuing banknotes signed by new governor Jameel Ahmad from December 29, 2022, the central bank said in a statement on Wednesday.
