Four passers-by, including two children, were injured in a remote-controlled bomb blast near tribal leader Malik Ashiq Noor's car in Dazha Ghondi area of ​​Wana Tehsil of South Waziristan.

According to police sources, the tribal leader's car has been targeted by a remote control bomb installed in a motorcycle in Dahza Ghondi Bazaar.

The windows of the car were broken in the blast, but Malik Ashiq Noor and his companion were safe. The injured have been shifted to the headquarters hospital where their treatment is ongoing.

The police inspected the spot after the incident and started investigation.

It should be noted that in November of last year Malik Ashiq Noor's brother, presidential award-winning tribal leader Aslam Noor Wazir, along with his two sons, were killed in a bomb blast. Earlier, 5 members of the said family had been killed.

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Home Department expressed fear of further attacks on government officials on Tank Dera Ismail Khan Road and directed immediate security measures.

A letter has been issued by the Home Department to the IG, all Administrative Secretaries, Commissioner D I Khan Division, and Tank.

In the latter, the authorities have been told that terrorists can kidnap government employees for ransom and carry out IED attacks.

According to the text of the later, there have been confirmed reports of abduction of government employees for the purpose of extortion, while fears of further targeting of government and bank vehicles on Dera ismail khan Road have been expressed.

The authorities have been instructed by the Home Department to change the travel timings of all the government agencies including changing the number plates of the vehicles.

It should be noted that on August 2, unknown armed men attacked the convoy of judges in Tank district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on their way to Dera Ismail Khan, in which two police officers were killed, while a day before that, unknown gunmen attacked on Tank road in Dera Ismail Khan. The armed person kidnapped the cash van along with the crew and looted 5 crores.

Two people were killed in a target killing incident in Burmal Tehsil of South Waziristan Lower.

According to the police, two people riding a motorcycle were fired at by a black-glasses car in Lindidog, as a result of which both died on the spot.

The two deceased persons were identified as Mahmood and Mahmood Noor.

SHO Azam Warsak Usman Mehsud said that the police reached the spot while the accused managed to escape.

He said that the police is collecting evidence from the crime scene.

The dead bodies of the deceased have been shifted to District Headquarters Hospital, Wana for post-mortem.

Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Islamabad handed over former member of National Assembly and Pashtun Protection Movement leader Ali Wazir to police on 6-day physical remand.

The police produced Ali Wazir in the Anti-Terrorism Court today after arresting him from PIMS Hospital yesterday.

FIRs have been registered in three police stations regarding Ali Wazir.

ATC Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra heard the cases filed against Ali Wazir.

Prosecutor Raja Naveed stated in the court that Ali Wazir snatched the gun from the policeman and tore the shirt of an officer.

On the other hand, Ali Wazir said in his statement in the court that the motorcyclist was injured, I said I will take him to the hospital, I was falsely accused, I will also take oath, the SHO should also take oath.

Later, the Anti-Terrorism Court ordered to produce Ali Wazir on August 8 and adjourned the hearing.

It should be noted that Ali Wazir was arrested last night at PIMS Hospital in the federal capital when he was brought for treatment to a young man who was hit by his car.

According to Mashriq TV journalist Allah Noor Wazir, who was in the hospital at the time of the accident with Ali Wazir, after two motorcycles collided near Zero Point last night, a motorcycle hit Ali Wazir's car.

He said that there were 4 persons riding on the motorcycle which collided with Ali Wazir, out of which three ran away while leaving an injured companion there.

He further said that Ali Wazir brought the injured motorcyclist to PIMS Hospital in his car for treatment, where the Islamabad police reached and arrested him.

Islamabad. Leader of Pashtun Protection Movement and former member of National Assembly from South Waziristan Ali Wazir has been arrested by Islamabad Police.

Ali Wazir was arrested last night at PIMS Hospital in the federal capital when he was present with a man who was injured in a collision with his vehicle.

According to Mashriq TV journalist Allah Noor Wazir, who was with Ali Wazir at the time of the accident and subsequent arrest, a motorcycle hit Ali Wazir's vehicle after a collision between two motorcycles near Zero Point last night.

He said that there were 4 persons riding on the motorcycle which collided with Ali Wazir car, out of which three ran away while leaving an injured companion there.

He further said that Ali Wazir brought the injured motorcyclist to PIMS Hospital in his car for treatment, where the Islamabad police reached and arrested him.

"The Secretariat police took Ali Wazir with them, but now the police say that Ali Wazir is not with them."

After the arrest of Ali Wazir, Member of National Assembly from South Waziristan Lower Zubair Wazir also reached the police station secretariat.

According to Zubair Wazir, he came to know that Ali Wazir has been arrested by the police station secretariat after a road accident, but he is not being allowed to meet him and the police say that Ali Wazir is not with them.

On the other hand, no statement regarding the arrest of Ali Wazir has come out from the Islamabad Police.

It should be noted that the last time Ali Wazir was arrested by the police in Dera Ismail Khan on November 14, 2023, however, he was later released on bail.
