Smart moms can enact change by following these guidelines.

• Stay Informed: Understand the signs and symptoms of malaria, including fever, chills, and flu-like symptoms, and seek medical attention promptly if you or your family members experience them.

• Prevent Mosquito Bites: Use insect repellent, sleep under mosquito nets, and wear long-sleeved clothing, especially during peak mosquito activity times, to reduce the risk of being bitten.

• Eliminate Mosquito Breeding Sites: Remove standing water around your home where mosquitoes breed, such as in flower pots, buckets, and puddles.

• Take Preventive Medication: In malaria-endemic areas, consider taking antimalarial medication as prescribed by healthcare professionals, especially if you're pregnant or traveling with young children.

- Avoid cutting or touching them directly.
- Keep your skin, especially your feet, clean and dry.
- Be careful when shaving, as cutting them can spread the virus, leading to more warts forming.
- Don't soak your nails and the skin around them too much, as it could lead to infection.
- If warts persist around the nails despite treatment, it's wise to see a doctor, as it could indicate a more serious issue.
- Soak your feet in water for a while to soften the warts' upper layer. Then gently scrub them with a pumice stone, making sure not to draw blood, just remove dead skin."
