Millions of people around the world earn money by making videos on YouTube and many people have become overnight billionaires from this work.

But YouTube is now the livelihood of a third of the population of a small village in India and their channels have millions of subscribers earning millions of rupees a month.

This village of 3,000 people in Chhattisgarh is known as 'YouTube Village', most of its inhabitants were farmers and used to go to their crops early in the morning for farming, but the success of two youths of the village on YouTube has given everyone a glimpse of this. Pulled aside.

The story of India's YouTube Village begins with two friends, Gyanendra Shukla and Jay Verma, who quit their jobs as network engineers and teachers to create videos on YouTube.

Within no time, he started earning decent money from YouTube and word of his success spread across the village, inspiring others to follow his footsteps.

Gyanendra Shukla said that he used to work as a network engineer, had high-speed internet in his office where he watched YouTube videos in his spare time.

Shukla said that when the new version of YouTube was launched in 2011-12, there were very few channels on YouTube at that time, I was not satisfied with my 9 to 5 job, so I quit my job and started working on YouTube.

Today, about 40 percent of Shukla's village population is now engaged in making videos for platforms like YouTube, TikTok or Instagram, with the youngest being a 15-year-old girl and the oldest being an 85-year-old grandmother.

Google launched Career Certificates today to offer flexible learning paths for all Pakistanis to enable learners to develop their knowledge and acquire digital skills for in-demand jobs.

In its mission to Unlock Pakistan’s Digital Potential, Google has also reinforced its commitment to enable an equitable and inclusive digital economy by offering 15,000 scholarships by this year through local partners – IRM and Ignite, comprising education institutions, industry partners and nonprofits.

A report by AlphaBeta found that if leveraged fully, digital technologies could create up to PKR 9.7 Trillion (USD 59.7 Billion) worth of economic value annually in Pakistan by 2030.

Pakistan’s ICT sector has witnessed remarkable growth over the past decade, boasting an average annual revenue growth rate of 20-30%. ICT-related exports currently exceed US$5 billion, and the Ministry of IT & Telecommunication believes the sector has the “potential to become the [nation’s] largest export industry” in the coming years. Currently, roughly 4.7% of Pakistan’s labor force is employed in the ICT sector, of which 6% – or ~200,000 workers – are women. The ICT sector also has the largest number of job vacancies, based on data from Pakistan’s leading job portal, Rozee.pk.

Farhan Qureshi, Google’s Regional Director for Pakistan, Bangladesh & Sri Lanka, said “Today, we are proud to announce the launch of Google Career Certificates, a program under the umbrella of Grow with Google. In partnership with IRM and Ignite, we are also providing scholarships for 15,000 learners to earn certificates at no cost. The endeavour reflects the commitment of Google to playing a vital role in order to ensure the growth of the country’s digital ecosystem. The certification program will provide new opportunities, allowing developers, students, teachers, job seekers, and businesses to grow exponentially. Partnerships are built with both public and private sector as we aim to uplift the digital industry in Pakistan”

Available on the online education platform Coursera, Google Career Certificates are self-paced online training programmes that enable learners with no prior experience or a degree to unlock new job opportunities in 6 areas – data analytics, IT support, IT automation, project management, UX Design, and digital marketing & e-commerce. Each certificate is created by Google’s in-house experts and designed to equip learners with fundamental skills through hands-on learning, allowing them to progress at their own pace while studying or working.

Syeda Dur-e-Hassan Rizvi, Data Science Trainee at Institute of Engineering Career, said “Although challenges and obstacles may stand in the way, it’s crucial to persevere if you want to succeed. After dipping my toes into the world of data, I have now finished the Google data analytics certification – It was a fantastic learning opportunity. I feel more confident and ready to learn and grow more!”

Muhammad Zunnurain Hussain, Assistant Professor, Dept. of CS Bahria University Lahore Campus, said “This certification has greatly impacted my professional life; I have been recognized globally, and have started receiving job offers from across the globe. Sky is the limit!”

To provide the opportunity for even more Pakistanis to benefit from Google Career Certificates, Google will offer scholarships for 15,000 learners to earn a certificate at no cost. Google will partner with IRM and Ignite to distribute the scholarships.

Shahbaz Sherif is staying in a hotel where rent per night is $5000 (14 lakh). Roughly his delegation consists of 50 people, so $250,000 (6 Karor) per night just for rent. Imagine other things like travel tickets, food, expense of luxury cars and etc. On the otherside, when Imran Khan visited US, he had delegation of less than 10 people. All of them traveled on their own expense, he did not stay in luxury hotels. Used public transport for traveling inside Washington, and stayed in a accommodation provided by consulate general. This is what happens when your PM is criminal, 60% cabinet ministers are on bail. We deserve this kind of leadership..

Everything was running smoothly, Pakistan’s
economy was moving towards sustainable growth, gap between exports and imports was increasing every month, GDP growth of last fiscal year was 6% and remittences were all time high. Then, a planted attack on Pakistan’s sovereignty occurred and results are in-front of you. Inflation rising like mad within days, dollar is crossing 240 rupees, no proper plan to stabilize the economy, stock market is making new records of crashes, overseas Pakistani taking out their investments from Roshan Digital. Economy is collapsing and imported company is busy interfering in prosecution and tempering evidences of their pending corruption cases. Federal cabinet now consists of 70 ministers, they dont care about nation they are just enjoying privileges that they are getting from these ministries. why traitors of this nation are not letting Pakistan flourish, why cant they see Pakistan an independent state?
