Seerat-un-Nabi ﷺ Conference at Fort Abbas Bar Association

Fort Abbas (Special Correspondent) — A Seerat-un-Nabi ﷺ Conference was held at the Fort Abbas Bar Association under the chairmanship of Bar President Ghulam Saifullah Anwar Advocate. The chief guests included MPA Chaudhry Kashif Naveed Pansota and Muhammad Afzal Dharlah Advocate, Member Punjab Bar Council.

The event was conducted by General Secretary Muhammad Akmal Langrial Advocate. Along with lawyers, participants included Chaudhry Zaheer Kassar (President Anjuman-e-Arhtiyan), Chaudhry Khalid Hussain, Abdul Hafeez Zia (Press Club Fort Abbas), and Dr. Saeed Imran (Chairman Press Club).

Jalalpur Pirwala Faces Imminent Flood Threat, Motorway M5 Breached

Multan (Special Correspondent): Rising waters of the Sutlej River have placed Jalalpur Pirwala under serious threat, with nearly 12 kilometers of land along Motorway M5 submerged. A section of the motorway has already given way, while several other stretches remain under extreme pressure. Authorities fear that if another breach occurs, Jalalpur city—located barely 1.5 kilometers away—could face widespread devastation.

The local administration is grappling with urgent challenges, including safeguarding the city, protecting the motorway from further collapse, and relocating thousands of residents to safer ground.

In the suburban village of 287 HR, Fort Abbas, the school’s playground has fallen prey to the land mafia. It is heartbreaking that where children once played cricket, ran around, and laughed freely, now a few influential individuals have laid their claim.

The villagers, school staff, and school council have raised their voices. They knock from door to door—sometimes at the Assistant Commissioner’s office, sometimes at the Education Department—yet the problem remains unresolved. The fear is that if silence prevails today, tomorrow the entire ground will be swallowed up.

The question is: where are our public representatives? MNA Ijaz-ul-Haq Sahib, MPA Chaudhry Kashif Naveed Pansota Sahib—this is your constituency, your responsibility. If even in your presence the land mafia manages to usurp a school playground, then where should the public turn for help?

Playgrounds are not just patches of land; they are symbols of children’s dreams, energy, and healthy activities. Societies that deprive their children of playgrounds breed mental stress, disorder, and despair.

Now the decision rests with the authorities. Will this encroachment be removed, or will another school playground be buried in dust? The public waits, and the children still hold their bats and balls, dreaming of an open field.
