In 2021, over 60,000 people gathered in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania—not for a game, but to witness the beauty of Qur'anic recitation. Participants from 21 African nations competed, their voices weaving a melody of devotion. Leaders, including Tanzania’s Prime Minister, honored the event, and the top five winners from Niger, Sudan, Nigeria, Tanzania, and Ivory Coast stood as champions—not of a sport, but of faith, dedication, and the timeless words of the Qur’an.

Cryptocurrency prices took a hit on Monday, with Bitcoin plunging to a three-week low amidst rising trade war fears.
