A Landmark Initiative for Youth Empowerment and Mental Well-being
In a remarkable collaboration, Sidra Foundation Pakistan, APEXA, and the District Youth Office Abbottabad successfully organized a three-day Mind Engineering Workshop at Royal Emirates residence Guest House, Abbottabad, bringing together students from Hazara University Mansehra, UET Peshawar, and participants from Mansehra, Abbottabad, and Peshawar. The workshop also witnessed the enthusiastic participation of children from SOS Children's Village, whose active involvement added great value and inspiration to the event.
The workshop was organized under the visionary leadership of Mr. Rehan Khan, Founder and Chairman of Sidra Foundation Pakistan. A dedicated social activist, youth mentor, and community leader, Mr. Rehan Khan has consistently worked to empower young people through education, leadership development, humanitarian service, and mental well-being initiatives. His vision is to nurture a generation of confident, responsible, and socially conscious youth capable of leading Pakistan toward a brighter future.
The three-day workshop featured highly interactive and impactful sessions conducted by renowned APEXA trainers Mr. Fawad Khan and Mr. Muhammad Ali. Their sessions focused on Mind Engineering, Mental Health Awareness, Emotional Intelligence, Positive Thinking, Self-Confidence, Stress Management, Leadership Development, Goal Setting, Effective Communication, Decision-Making, Personality Development, Team Building, and Personal Growth, equipping participants with practical tools to overcome challenges and achieve success in both their academic and professional lives.
The event also welcomed distinguished guest speakers, experts, and guests of honour from various sectors, who shared their experiences and inspired participants with valuable insights on leadership, education, youth empowerment, and social responsibility.
The closing ceremony was graced by Assistant Commissioner Abbottabad, Mr. Afsaryab Hundal, as the Chief Guest. In his insightful address, he highly appreciated the outstanding collaboration between Sidra Foundation Pakistan, APEXA, and the District Youth Office Abbottabad, emphasizing that such initiatives play a vital role in promoting mental well-being, leadership, and the overall development of Pakistan's youth.
The ceremony was further honoured by the presence of Ms. Bushra Masroor, District Youth Officer Abbottabad, as the Guest of Honour. She commended the organizers for creating an exceptional platform that encourages learning, innovation, leadership, and positive social change among young people.
The event was professionally hosted by Ms. Erum Shehzadi, Coordinator of Sidra Foundation Pakistan, whose confident stage management and engaging presentation contributed significantly to the success of the workshop. The event's seamless ex*****on was made possible through the dedicated efforts of Ms. Muazzma, Coordinator Amina, and Haleema, whose tireless commitment, teamwork, and active support ensured the smooth organization of all three days.
The workshop concluded with the distribution of shields of appreciation and certificates to trainers, guest speakers, distinguished guests, organizers, and participants in recognition of their valuable contributions.
