𝐎𝐧𝐠𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞-𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐡𝐫 𝐃𝐞𝐡, 𝐃𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐢 – 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐧𝐝
A successful intelligence-based joint operation was conducted in Mahr Deh, Tehsil Dargai, Malakand, involving personnel from the Pakistan Army, SOC, CTD, and Malakand Levies.
During the operation, one terrorist was neutralized, while another identified as Syed Habib, son of Syed Mehran reportedly of Afghan origin, was injured and taken into custody.
Security forces recovered four bags containing a significant cache of weapons and materials, including:
Rocket launcher with four rounds
Multiple knives and seven Kalashnikov magazines
130 rounds of BG-7 ammunition
16 hand grenades
Communication devices (pocket phones, MP3 players, mobile phones)
IED-related equipment (remotes, wires)
Flags and insignia of the banned Tehrik-e-Taliban
Local and foreign currency
Miscellaneous items (clothing, oil bottles, flashlights, cutters)
The operation is still underway, and continued monitoring and clearance efforts are in progress to eliminate any remaining threats in the area.
