DOORBELL - An impactful short film produced by SHOR Films in December 2019 - is an art piece based on domestic violence. Sadly, domestic violence in Pakistan has surged to a percentage of 30 to 50 of the entire population. It gets worse when it starts to travel into our generations. The film portrays what is wrong and what would come back to us.

We got the chance to produce this art piece when an organization rolled out a project to make something related to domestic violence. We had an idea to try out all the extraordinary things we had not done yet. A lawyer friend ours - Shehrbano Awan had a script which she really wanted to get filmed. We took that in and called the whole team to work. That's when the magic happened! 💫
