"Istam": Do you know what these cuties are doing?
They're here to collect their "Istam". The tradition of kids asking for "Istam" which is derived from the "Oishtam" that refers to the 27th day of Ramadan, has been a long-standing practice in Lakki Marwat and nearby, Children sing songs and collect Istam, akin to Eidi, from elders and neighbors. Instead of money in the past, they used to receive items like wheat and grains, which they would then sell; a good opportunity for the poor ones to buy their Eid necessities. Istam's full anthem. However, this tradition is fading, with girls no longer participating due to moral degradation and societal changes preventing kids from entering homes. Yet, the joy of these kids remains evident despite these challenges. Those who don't pay Istam have to pay with their bells and flood lights broken, or they'll have to bear constant knocks at their doors. Before giving Istam Kids are made to recite Istam anthem.

آج کچھ الفاظ لکی مروت کے ایک اُبھرتے ہوئے ستارے "ہارون نواز" کے نام، جو کہ Pivrifine Food & Beverages اور Saffron Solar Energy کے بانی ہیں.

انجینئیر ہارون نواز نے اپنی زندگی میں کئی بڑے کارنامے سرانجام دیئے ہیں.
2014 میں انہوں نے کچھ بڑا کرنے کا سوچا تو اَپنی ملازمت کو خیرباد کہہ کر ’سیفرون‘ کے نام سے ایک سولر کمپنی قائم کی. انہوں نے اس کمپنی کو کامیابی کی بلندیوں تک پہنچایا اور بعد ازاں FMCG مارکیٹ میں بھی قدم رکھا، جہاں انہوں نے ملٹی نیشنل برانڈز کو ٹکر دینے کا عزم ظاہر کیا.
اور پھر "Pivrifine" کے نام سے چھوٹے پیمانے پر آغاز کیا، جوکہ بعد میں طوفان برپا کردیا.
اور آج پاکستان کے بڑے شہروں میں 15 فیکٹریاں چل رہی ہیں، جن کی ماہانہ پیداواری صلاحیت پچیس لاکھ کاٹنز ہیں. اِن کی مصنوعات پاکستان کے بڑے بڑے ہوٹلز، ریسٹورانٹس، گروسری اسٹورز، میگا مارٹس، موٹرویز اور ایئرپورٹس پر دستیاب ہیں.
انجینئیر ہارون نواز نہ صرف لکی مروت کا فخر ہیں، بلکہ اب ملکی اور عالمی سطح پر بھی ان کا نام روشن ہو رہا ہے. کیونکہ حال ہی میں انہوں نے سعودی عرب میں بھی اپنے پراجیکٹس کا آغاز کیا ہے، جس سے کمپنی کی عالمی سطح پر توسیع کی راہ ہموار ہو رہی ہے.
برطانیہ، مشرق وسطیٰ اور دیگر ممالک میں بھی لائسنس کے عمل جاری ہیں اور کچھ ممالک کے لائسنس پہلے ہی منظور ہو چکے ہیں.

یہ سب کچھ ہارون نواز کی محنت، عزم اور وژن کی بدولت ممکن ہوا ہے.
لکی مروت کی مٹی زرخیز ہے اور ایسے ستارے اس میں جنم لیتے ہیں جو پوری دنیا میں اپنا نام روشن کرتے ہیں.
