Pakistan and Tajikistan have agreed on a three-year roadmap to expand bilateral trade to $200 million, marking a new phase in economic cooperation between the two countries.
The agreement was reached during the 8th Joint Commission meeting held in Dushanbe, where both sides discussed strengthening collaboration across key sectors including energy, agriculture, IT, health, education, tourism, and investment.
Both countries also committed to enhancing trade connectivity through business forums, trade delegations, and improved market access for exporters and investors. Progress on the CASA-1000 project was reviewed, alongside exploration of new opportunities in oil, gas, pharmaceuticals, and digital skills development.
The partnership reflects a shared vision to deepen regional integration, improve connectivity, and support long-term sustainable economic growth for both nations.
