🌧 When Rain Becomes Excessive, The Prophetic Supplication and Lesson

In times of unusual rainfall and floods, we should turn to the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ.

📿 The Prophetic Supplication in Heavy Rain:
اللَّهُمَّ حَوَالَيْنَا وَلَا عَلَيْنَا
اللَّهُمَّ عَلَى الْآكَامِ وَالظِّرَابِ وَبُطُونِ الْأَوْدِيَةِ وَمَنَابِتِ الشَّجَرِ

O Allah! Let it rain around us and not upon us. O Allah! On the hills, mountains, valleys, and places where trees grow.
📖 (Sahih Bukhari 1014)

🕋 Rain is a mercy from Allah, but when it exceeds limits, it becomes a trial. The Prophet ﷺ made this dua to divert the harm of excessive rain, and Allah immediately answered.

💔 Today, we face similar challenges. Unusual rains and floods have displaced thousands. Children, women, and the elderly are in urgent need of help.

🤲 Let us also follow the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ:

* Through supplication
* Through compassion
* Through practical assistance

If Allah Ta'ala seeks his faults, he will be exposed

The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: "O you who have faith with their tongues but faith has not entered their hearts! Do not harm the Muslims, nor revile them, nor backbite the Muslims or seek their faults. Whoever seeks their faults, Allah Ta'ala will seek his faults. And if Allah Ta'ala seeks his faults, He will expose him even in the privacy of his own house."

Subhanallah! Honor in the Hereafter for suppressing 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿

The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever suppresses his rage ˹𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿˺, even though he could unleash it, Allah Ta'ala will summon him on the Day of Resurrection before the heads of all creation to choose whichever 𝗛𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗹-‘𝗶𝘆𝗻 ˹the maidens of Paradise˺ he wishes."

- Hadith Sunan Abu Dawood and Tirmidhi

How Should We Celebrate Independence Day?

This poster explains the Quranic guidance on what to do after gaining a homeland and political authority. It cites the verse from Surah Al-Hajj (22:41) that emphasizes establishing prayer, giving zakat, encouraging good, and discouraging evil.

The message contrasts this with modern trends of celebrating through music concerts, dancing, and public festivities, reminding that true celebration should focus on gratitude to Allah, worship, charity, and social responsibility. It suggests five key actions for Independence Day:

- Offer prayers.
- Give zakat.
- Help the needy.
- Promote good values and prevent wrongdoing.
- Repent and seek forgiveness.

PRODUCTIVE PAKISTAN

While Pakistan has some social and political problems, it has also widely been stated as being the tourism industry's next big thing. Pakistan has diverse cultures, peoples and landscapes.

The country's attractions range from the ruins of ancient civilizations such as Mohenjo-daro, Harappa and Taxila, to the Himalayan hill stations, which attract those interested in field and winter sports. Pakistan is home to several mountain peaks over 7000m, which attracts adventurers and mountaineers from around the world, especially K2. The northern parts of Pakistan have many old fortresses, towers and other architecture as well as the Hunza and Chitral valleys, the latter being home to the small pre-Islamic Animist Kalasha community who claim descent from the army of Alexander the Great. The romance of the North West Frontier Province is timeless and legendary. In the Punjab is the site of Alexander's battle on the Jhelum River and the historic city Lahore, Pakistan's cultural capital, with many examples of Mughal architecture such as the Badshahi Masjid, Shalimar Gardens, Tomb of Jahangir and the Lahore Fort.

To promote Pakistan's unique and various cultural heritage, the prime minister launched a "Visit Pakistan" marketing campaign in 2007.

In 2009, The World Economic Forum’s Travel & Tourism Competitiveness Report ranked Pakistan as one of the top 25% tourist destinations for its World Heritage sites. Ranging from mangroves in the South, to the 5,000-year-old cities of the Indus Valley Civilization —Mohenjo-daro and Harappa.
