According to reports, Saudi Arabia has assigned a quota of almost 180,000 pilgrims to Pakistan for the annual Hajj rite in 2023.

According to information, the Pakistani government (GoI) inked a bilateral deal with Saudi Arabia for Haj 2023, following which it was revealed that 179,210 Pakistani pilgrims will conduct the yearly rite this year.

M***i Abdul Shakoor, Federal Minister of Religious Affairs, and Acting Director General (DG) Hajj Sajid Manzoor Asadi signed the agreement.
The arrangement stipulated that half of the pilgrims would arrive at Madinah Airport and the other half at Jeddah Airport. The first Hajj flight will leave on the 1st of Dhul-Qidah, and the accommodation will be revealed on the 15th of Shaban.

The opening ceremony and first match of the eighth HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) season is set for February 13 in Multan.
According to Cricket Pakistan, South Punjab will host the grand opening event and the first match of season eight versus the reigning champions Lahore Qalandars.
