Albatrosses are amazing birds that have a unique way of flying. They can soar through the sky for long distances without needing to land. What’s even more impressive is that they can actually sleep while they are flying! Using the wind currents, these birds glide effortlessly over the ocean for thousands of miles.
When an albatross is flying, it doesn’t need to flap its wings all the time. Instead, it takes advantage of strong winds and drafts in the air. This helps the albatross to conserve energy and travel great distances with ease. They often fly over the open ocean, where they can find food like fish and squid.
