We are proud to announce the successful closing ceremony of our impactful project:
“Harnessing Indigenous Knowledge for Water Management in Baltistan: The Role of Frozen Water Reserves.”

Held on April 2, 2026, this initiative highlighted the importance of traditional practices such as glacier grafting and ice stupas in addressing water scarcity and climate challenges in Baltistan.

This project was generously funded by FCDO and Oxford Policy Management, implemented by Baltistan Culture & Development Foundation, and documented by 4K Filmz through the films Children of Ice and Tower of Hope.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all partners, communities, and team members who contributed to making this initiative a success. Together, we are preserving heritage and building resilience for future generations.
