Pakistan Army, Rangers and Civil Institutions took timely action to save Dadu Grid Station from sinking.

After 36 hours of continuous work by Pakistan Army, Rangers and civil organizations, a protection dam was constructed at 2.4 km. As a result of the dam, the Dadu grid station was protected from flood relays.

Building a dam around the grid station not only kept the grid safe but also kept the power supply to the area intact.

All plant equipments of Pakistan Army and Corps of Engineers were employed for this work. The people of the area have thanked the Pakistan Army.
