The National database and Registration Authourity (NADRA) on Wednesday officially launched the "Rehbar" mobile application, assisting people by answering their Nadra -related queries, sources reported.

Chairman NADRA Tarq Malik said that the application has been developed to assist citizens. People can get NADRA related information from their homes he added.

He said that people can get to know the timings, location and other information closest NADRA centre using the Rehbar application. The application is a step forward to indulge the citizen in the process and create ease in the NADRA processes.

Minallah gave the aforementioned remarks during the hearing of the case pertaining issue of granting citizenship to a child born to an Afghan refugee family in Pakistan.

A 24-year old Afghan born in Pakistan had failed an application in the court seeking Pakistani citizenship. On behalf Fazal Haq, lawyer Umer Ijaz Gilani appeared in the court.

The Lawyer said this client spend 24 years in Pakistan without any citizenship.

The court ordered to grant petitioner Pakistani nationality in light of the Verdict in Hafiz Hamdullah's case.

Just like laws in countries such as America and others, our law is also bound to grant citizenship to every child born here, the chief Justice remarked. He further ordered the interior ministry to complete the legal process by next Friday and submit a report on it.

The interior ministry's counsel assured the court that they will soon verify the birth certificate of Afghan child.

Khyber Paktunkhuwa (KP) Government has launched E-stamp paper which would stop the selling of bogus stamp paper and fraud.
KP CM Mahmood Khan launched the E-stamp paper in the province and said this stop the issuance of stamp papers on older dates.

E-stamp paper help in resolving the property dispute, he said and added now people can verify the stamp paper online, fraud and forgery can be prevented.

Pakistani women weightlifted Rabia Shahzad on Tuesday won silver medal in the world Powerlifting Championship in Slovakia. the former national junior championship shared the good news on her Instagram.

"Alhamdullilah I have won Silver medal and broke national records by lifting a total of 267.5 KG (bodyweight 51.4kg) in 52 kg category in World Powerlifting Championship 2022 in Trnava, Slovakia.

"Thankful to Allah for giving me this achievement despite the federation secretary Ms Rashid Malik trying his best to stop my International Participation and make me quit the sport", she wrote.

After being crowned Champion of the 18th Penang Junior Open 2022 in Malaysia, Pakistan 11-year old squash player Mahnoor Ali, is being praised for her prowess in the game at such a young age.

Mahnoor hails from Peshawar but resides in Karachi. The teenager beat Malaysia's Avantikashrii Seenivasagam by 3-0 in the final to get her hands on the glittering trophy. The one-sided competition saw Mahnoor winning three straight sets by 11-4,11-1 and 11-3.

The young athlete said the trophy receiving moment was emotional for her. "It was my first time, winning an international event and receiving Trophy".

"I won't lie, I was a little bit emotional but happy too because of the trophy".

Mahnoor credited her coach Amir and her father for being an inspiration. "My coach Sir Amir and my father worked really hard with me. Without them it wasn't possible. I am extremely thankful to my coaches and family for supporting me". she concluded

Chairman FR said in the briefing tat annual tax of 160 Billion rupees sector is received from the To***co sector, 157 Billion rupees i.e. 98% tax is being paid by two multinational companies only. 3 Billion rupees are being received from 20 other companies.

A fleet of three-wheeled vehicles generally known as tuk-tuk will be used by a Welsh police force to combat crime in the United Kingdom.

The new three-wheeled will be used by Gwent Police to patrol public areas. the tuk-tuk, a familiar ride on Asian roadways to the BBC, a Welsh police department has declared that it will use a fleet of the tri-motorcycles to combat crime.

They will be used by Gwent Police officer's for "Day and Night" patrols in Newport and Abergavenny, according to the department.
The motorized rickshaws will be employed to police open areas like parks and sidewalks.

Chief inspector Damian Sowrey said the vehicles received "Overwhelmingly Positive" feedback.

"They were on show at our Behind the Badge day. giving local residents the opportunity to see them up close and to hear more about how they will be used," Sowrey said.

The Police agency has not disclosed the peak speed of the tuk-tuk. However, various media sources indicated that it is in between 25 and 35 MPH.

Founder of instant messaging services Telegram Pavel Durov, said in his Telegram channel yesterday that Whatsapp has been a surveillance tool for 13years and people should stay away from the messaging app. He said that every year there is an issue with Whatsapp that puts its users data at Risk.

He said that hackers have full access to everything on the phones of Whatsapp users because of a security issue that the platform disclosed last week. All hackers needs to do to access to all the data on one's phone is to send a malicious video or start a video call.
Durov said that if one thinks that updating Whatsapp to the latest version would render their data safe, that's not really the case. He added that a similar issue was discovered in 2017 and 2018 and then in 2019 and then again in 2020.

Sania, who belongs to a town called Hattian Bala in Azad Kashmir, was just seven years old when she was separated from her family on October 8 2005.

The devastating earthquake left nearby 100,000 people dead and hundreds of thousands homeless besides destroying basic infrastructure.
