Do you know that during dialysis, blood is removed from the body through the red tube, passed through the dialysis machine, and then reintroduced into the body through the blue tube.

This process is repeated for four hours while the patient remains immobile in bed.

The procedure is carried out three times a week, which results in twelve times a month, and each time it takes four hours, which results in a total of forty-eight hours a month.

For those not affected, this process of flushing your kidneys occurs automatically 36 times every day with zero effort or discomfort.

Dr Pratik Joshi had been living in London for the past six years. He had long dreamed of building a better future abroad for his wife and their three young children, who were staying back in India.

صرف پونے 4 گھنٹے کی جنگ

پاکستان آزما لیا گیا ، جو نتائج نکلے ہیں وہ ہمارے لیئے تو قابل فخر ہیں لیکن دنیا کے لیئے انتہائی خوفناک ہیں ۔
ایسا لگتا ہے کہ جیسے ہم پہلے اپنی کچھ قائدانہ کمزوریوں کی وجہ سے ایک خودساختہ احساس کمتری میں مبتلا تھے ۔ لیکن پاک افواج نے صرف تین گھنٹے میں ہماری سوچ, دنیا کی سوچ اور خطے کی تاریخ کو بدل کر رکھ دیا ۔
ایک سوچ تھی کہ
"پاکستان دس دن جنگ لڑنے کا متحمل نہیں ہو سکتا ۔"
وہ اس سوچ میں بدل گئی کہ
"پاکستان دس دن میں بھارت جیسے دس ممالک کو دس مرتبہ تباہ کر سکتا ہے ۔"
اگر میں آپ کو کل ملا کر بتاؤں تو پاکستان نے محض تین گھنٹے 45 منٹ کی جنگ میں بھارت کو تباہی کے دہانے پر لا کھڑا کیا اور جب صرف اتنی کسر باقی رہ گئی کہ صرف ایک پھونک مارنی تھی اور پورا بھارت اس گڑھے میں غرق ہو جاتا تو دنیا کے وہ چوہدری جو پیپسی اور لیز چپس کے پیکٹ لے کر صرف تماشا دیکھنے بیٹھے تھے وہ سب کچھ پھینک کر اس تماشے میں کودنے پر مجبور ہو گئے ۔
کچھ کہہ رہے ہیں کہ مودی نے ٹرمپ کو فون کیا ۔
مودی نے ؟ ؟ ؟
کیا مودی کا فون کام کر رہا تھا ؟ ؟
کیا مودی کا دماغ کام کر رہا تھا ؟ ؟
کیا مودی کے حواس کام کر رہے تھے ؟ ؟
مودی کو تو جب ہوش آیا ہو گا تو کچھ اس قسم کے کلمات منہ سے نکل رہے ہوں گے ۔ ۔
میں کِتھے آں؟
توُں کون اِیں؟
اے کی اے؟
میں پاگل آں ؟
توں پاگل ایں ۔
ہیں ... اوۓ۔۔
اے کون اے؟
وہ تو پوچھ رہا ہو گا کہ کیا بھارت تباہ ہو گیا اور ہم سب سورگ میں ہیں ؟
پھر اسے بتایا گیا ہو گا کہ نہیں آپ سب کو بچا لیا گیا ہے ۔ ٹرمپ صاحب موقع پر پہنچ گئے تھے ۔
ٹرمپ نے بھگوان بن کر ان کی مدد کی ہے ۔ اب یہ اسی کو پوجیں گے ۔
ورنہ ان کو تو سمجھ ہی نہیں آرہی تھی کہ کہاں کہاں سے میزائل آرہے ہیں اور کہاں کہاں گر رہے ہیں ۔ کیا کیا تباہ ہو گیا اور بچا کیا ہے ۔
اور
اور وہ جو ہمارا روسی ساختہ دنیا کا نمبر ون دفاعی نظام تھا وہ کہاں چلا گیا ؟
وہ کیا کر رہا ہے ؟
مودی کے اس جنگی جنون کی پوری عمارت تین ستونوں پر کھڑی تھی ۔
1 ۔ رافیل طیارے ناقابل شکست ہیں ۔
2 ۔ بھارت کے دفاعی نظام کے ہوتے ہوئے یہاں پرندہ پر نہیں مار سکتا ۔
3 ۔ پاکستان بھارت کے آگے دس دن نہیں ٹک سکتا ۔
ان تینوں ستونوں کو زمین بوس ہونے میں 3 گھنٹے اور 45 منٹ لگے ۔

We give free consultations.
We write free prescriptions.
We interpret lab reports at 11 p.m.
We answer medical questions on birthdays, weddings, and funerals.
Why?
Because we care.
Because we took an oath.
Because we were taught that healing is noble.
But what do we get in return?
"Why are you talking about money?"
"This is a noble profession."
"You should serve humanity, not charge for it."
All this, while other professionals say this with ease:
Lawyers charge consultation fees - even for phone calls.
Chartered Accountants charge for a signature.
Architects charge for blueprints.
Therapists charge per session - no discounts.
IT consultants won't fix your software for free.
Tutors don't teach for free because you're "like family."
But us?
We're expected to diagnose over WhatsApp.
To give life-altering advice in 2 minutes over a call.
And never mention fees because it's "just a service."
But what we give is not information it is insight.
It's not Google it's wisdom shaped by years of study, sleepless nights, and sacrifice.
This needs to change.
Because if the value of medical care continues to be measured in rupees and not respect,we might just hang our white coats and let the world face what it chose:
A system where care is expected, but not valued.
