Today was a very difficult morning for us 💔. Our little Zunaira was not feeling well, and as per doctor’s advice, we had to go for a blood test. Watching her cry because of the needle pain broke our hearts into pieces 💉😭. As parents, nothing is more painful than seeing your child in tears and feeling helpless in that moment.

Ya Allah, please grant shifa to our daughter and ease her pain 🤲❤️. May she always be blessed with good health, happiness, and endless smiles. Ameen.

September is Craniosynostosis Awareness Month!

Did you know - Brain volume in newborn infants doubles by the time an infant reaches six months old and triples by two and a half years old. Sutures and fontanelles allow the bones to meet the rapid growth demands of the brain. In a newborn, the normal anterior fontanelle (also referred to as front soft spot ) measures 2 centimeters, but it can range from 0.6 centimeters to 3.6 centimeters. The normal age of closure is 14 months old, but can range from 3 to 24 months old.
Craniosynostosis is a rare condition affecting roughly 1-2000, it is where one or more of the sutures of the skull are prematurely fused.
