Honored to share that today’s World Literacy Day program was graced by the presence of Minister Education, Secretary Education, and our respected District Education Officer South, Sir Imtiaz Bughio. The program was highly inspiring and well appreciated. We are proud that students of GBSS Qamar ul Islam Campus Punjab Colony, District South (Morning Shift) also participated—Hafiza Romaisa beautifully presented Qirat (Surah Alaq) and Aqsa Gul recited Naat. honored to have attended at CM HOUSE,the British Council’s inaugural project **“English as Subject Teachers and Educators – Phase II”**, launched in Sindh after its successful implementation in Punjab.

This landmark initiative aims to strengthen English language teaching and learning by empowering educators through professional training, mentoring, and skill development. The project targets:

* **30,000 Primary & Early Childhood Teachers** across 30 districts of Sindh for comprehensive professional development.
* **1,000 Experienced Mentors (Teaching License Holders)** to provide guidance, mentoring, and subject expertise.
* **31,000 Direct Beneficiaries**, including teachers receiving advanced training and professional growth opportunities.
* **2 Million+ Indirect Beneficiaries**, primarily students, who will benefit from improved English language education.

We feel truly blessed to be selected as **one of the 1,000 licensed mentors**
