It has been 7 years now but feels as if the incident happened yesterday. 16th Dec 2014 the day that left millions of humans mourning and grieving the horrific deaths of young souls. This was the incident that shocked every single person of the nation and the extremely horrific ex*****on of Gun Violence against innocent humans made everyone believe that barbarity still exists. Whatever it was, be it an intelligence or government failure but it was one of the most haunting incidents in human history.

Amnesty International shares the statistics related to Gun-Violence. It shows how much destruction can be caused with only the weapons people use to keep in their houses or offices apparently for self-defense purposes.

The unfortunate incident happened in Qayyumabad (a town in Karachi), a police soldier started air shooting during the wedding ceremony of his friend and one of the bullets went straight through the neck of a young girl. The suspect and two brothers of the groom have been taken into Police custody but it seems impossible that the affected family will sooner or later get justice.
