"YouTube Automation" sounds tempting, but does it really work? 🤔
I keep seeing people talk about building faceless channels using AI tools like ChatGPT for scripts, ElevenLabs for voiceovers, and stock footage to create videos and earn from YouTube or Facebook. 💸
As someone who works in content creation and social media every day, I’ve been curious too. So here's what I’ve learned, honestly:
✅ Yes, it can work.
Some channels do well with this model, especially in niches like tech explainers, history, or motivational content. They use AI to streamline the process and produce content faster.
But…
❌ Most of them don’t succeed.
YouTube’s monetisation policies are much stricter now. If your content feels low-effort or too generic, it often gets rejected.
Viewers can usually tell when a script or voiceover lacks emotion or sounds too robotic.
And honestly, the space is flooded. A lot of these channels look and sound the same.
So does that mean YouTube automation is a scam? Not really!
It just means automation is a tool, not a full strategy.
If you’re still writing solid scripts, thinking about your audience, editing thoughtfully, and building a unique tone... that’s where it can work.
Otherwise, it’s like uploading content into the void and hoping for the best. 🙄
If you’ve been thinking about starting a faceless channel or already trying this route, I’d love to hear your experience.
Are you seeing results? Or is it harder than it looks? 👀
