The Pakistan Digital Media Forum (PDMF) has extended its heartfelt congratulations to the newly elected office-bearers and members of the Governing Body on the success of the Democrats Panel in the Karachi Press Club Annual Elections for 2026.

A dynamic journalist, speaker, digital broadcaster, content creator, and social activist, Kamran Chouhan is committed to promoting peace, awareness, and innovation in Pakistan.

He is the Founder & Secretary General of Save Pakistan Foundation (Regd.) and Convener of the FPCCI Central Standing Committee on Digital Media (2024–25), playing a key role in youth empowerment and digital transformation across the country.

As a Special Correspondent at Abbtakk News, Kamran has reported on vital national issues with integrity and depth. He also leads as the President of the Pakistan Digital Media Forum (PDMF), where he fosters collaboration and growth in the digital media ecosystem.

Media Fellowship on Gender Equality and Child Rights 2025

NCSW in collaboration with NCRC and UNICEF are excited to announce the launch of the Media Fellowship on Gender Equality and Child Rights 2025 to journalists and media professionals across Pakistan.

The first in a series of Media Fellowship Trainings on Gender Equality and Child Rights will be held in Karachi on 27–28 October 2025.
The fellowship series aims to build the capacity of journalists and media professionals to promote gender equality, child protection and inclusive reporting practices. Through these region-specific trainings, the initiative seeks to strengthen media’s role in advancing rights-based narratives and responsible journalism.

To ensure broad participation, the trainings will be conducted region-wise, giving media professionals from all provinces and territories an equal opportunity to participate and contribute.

Condemnation
Pakistan Digital Media Forum (PDMF) strongly condemns the registration of cases under the PECA Act against women journalists Nayyer Ali, Myra Imran, Shakila Jalil and Sehrish Qureshi. Such actions are not only an attack on freedom of expression but also a violation of the principles of justice. We call on the government to immediately withdraw these baseless cases.

The Pakistan Digital Media Forum has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the mysterious killing of renowned journalist Khawar Hussain. PDMF has urged the Chief Minister of Sindh, Home Minister Sindh and the IG Sindh to ensure an impartial and transparent investigation into this tragic incident so that the true facts may come to light. The Pakistan Digital Media Forum has also extended heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the family of the late Khawar Hussain, praying for patience and strength for them and for the departed soul’s highest ranks in the hereafter.
