Pakistan is set to launch its multi-mission communication satellite, PakSAT-MM1R, on May 30, in collaboration with China. This milestone marks a significant achievement in the space cooperation between the two nations.
The launch will take place at China's Xichang Satellite Launch Centre and will be broadcast live from Suparco's offices in Islamabad and Karachi.
According to Suparco, the satellite is a joint effort with the Chinese Aerospace Industry and is designed to cater to Pakistan's communication and connectivity needs.
The satellite is expected to play a crucial role in driving Pakistan's digital transformation and improving socioeconomic conditions. This launch follows the successful deployment of iCube Qamar, demonstrating Pakistan's growing capabilities in space technology.
