During the recent operation against encroachments in Karachi, Assistant Commissioner North Nazimabad Hameer Ahmed sealed Cafe Piala Hotel.

According to the Assistant Commissioner, Cafe Piala had established encroachments despite multiple warnings. Several complaints were received regarding the issue, and the management was repeatedly instructed to clear the encroachments but failed to comply.

Following the directives of Commissioner Karachi, the operation was carried out, leading to the sealing of Cafe Piala.

The Lahore High Court, rejecting the position of the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Trust, gave the final authority to the Punjab Healthcare Commission to fix the prices of their services on behalf of private sector diagnostic laboratories and health institutions.

The court has said that this authority is already available to this commission under the 2010 Act, diagnostic laboratories and health service providers in Punjab cannot charge more than 20 percent profit on their expenses.

The court says that the Punjab Healthcare Commission has the final authority to approve the compensation that these institutions or laboratories decide for their services.

Justice Raheel Kamran ruled that health services cannot be considered as commercial goods, health services are directly related to the right to life of a person, which is guaranteed in the Constitution.

Pakistan has developed a weapon against su***de drones coming from across the border.

The “Safra Drone Jamming Gun” developed at the National Electronics Complex has started disabling “kamikaze” drones and this jamming gun targets the drone from a distance of one and a half kilometers, disabling it and its remote control.

The anti-drone jammer gun was introduced during the Pakistan Navy’s Pymech exhibition at the Expo Center in Karachi.

The gun can disable all commercial drones coming within a range of one and a half kilometers. Hamza Khalid, manager of the company that manufactures the anti-drone jammer gun, said that this gun can be installed on the country’s borders, while it can also be used in major events in cities.

A tortured body was discovered near Rexer Bridge in Karachi, according to rescue officials. The victim’s hands and feet were tied, and ropes were found around the body, which was recovered from an under-construction building.

Rescue teams shifted the body to Civil Hospital Karachi for further examination and postmortem.

Authorities said the deceased has not yet been identified but is believed to be around 35 years old.
