Petrol Prices Expected to Drop in Pakistan from December 1 2025

Petroleum prices in Pakistan are likely to see a major reduction starting December 1, 2025, offering much-needed relief to consumers.

According to initial estimates from industry sources:

Petrol may drop by Rs. 3.75 per litre

High-speed diesel (HSD) could decrease by Rs. 6.10 per litre

Kerosene oil may reduce by Rs. 0.73 per litre

Light diesel oil (LDO) might fall by Rs. 6.35 per litre

Oil companies have completed their price calculations and submitted them to the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA). OGRA is finalizing its official summary, which will be forwarded to the Ministry of Finance tomorrow.

The Ministry of Finance will announce the final prices for the next 15 days on November 30, after consulting with the Prime Minister. The new rates will be implemented from December 1.

If approved, this will mark one of the largest diesel price cuts in recent weeks, providing significant relief to transporters and the general public.

Big Relief Coming for Salaried Class — Especially Bankers & Corporate Employees! 💼✨

Great news for all salaried individuals — bankers, corporate employees, office staff, and the entire salaried class may finally get a major tax break in the next budget.

FBR Chairman Rashid Langrial confirmed that the government has started working on reducing income tax rates for salaried citizens after clear instructions from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

The government is also planning to cut and gradually remove the super tax on large companies to boost investment and business activity.

Langrial added that these changes depend on stronger tax compliance:

“The more people who file taxes, the easier it becomes to reduce tax rates.”

Bottom line: If all goes as planned, bankers and the entire salaried class can expect genuine tax relief in the upcoming fiscal year’s budget.
