First of all, I thank Allah, my team, my strength Zarqa Naz, Hamza, Ali, Usama Anwar, Akhtar Abbas, Unita Bawani and the entire NAPA management, set & lights department. Thank you very much for believing in my dream project. If there are any shortcomings in the writing, acting, or direction, I sincerely apologize for them. To the best of my ability, I paid tribute to Jaun, and it is my wish that someone else does an even better theatrical tribute to him than this. A big thank you is owed to my teacher Sir Zain Ahmed, whom I must acknowledge โ he encouraged me to take on this play in its initial stage.
I DEDICATE this play to my Father (Late) andโฆ if it weren't for that idea, this play wouldn't even exist!
My elder sister Farzana Fahim came to see one of my plays for the very first time. I used to memorize Jaun's script and recite it to her. I had requested her to make sure she came to see this play, and she did, seeing her in the audience made me very happy.
Thanks to all the Arts Council Pakistan Karachi & NAPA teachers who shaped me. Special thanks to Ma'am Bazelah Mustafa, HOD Theatre Arts, who trusted me and my original script. Inshallah, I will continue to take on such challenging projects in the future.
But the magic wouldn't be complete without our incredible Jaun Elia fans audience! You all turned the jam-packed NAPA basement into a vibrant, electrifying intimate space with your cheers and energy. Thank you for being the best part of the show! Your presence and enthusiasm filled the venue with an unparalleled energy, making the experience truly unforgettable.
In the near future, we intend to perform Jaun vs Jaun as a theatre play nationwide โ we just need the moral support as well as the collaboration and backing of Jaun's admirers and fans.
