Following are pre-requisit for acceptance of gift in wealth statement (Income Tax Return)

1. Copy of gift deed
2. Copy of bank statements (Donor/Donee).
3. Copy of wealth statement of Donor for relevant tax year.
4. Copies of Cheques/Transfer Deed/Mutation Letters etc.
5. Family Registration Certificate to establish the relationship with Donor, if received from a “Relative” as defined in Section 85(5) of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001.
6. Any other document which you deemed to fit to substantiate your claim.
