People believe that by burying children in the sand of the beach, disabled and incurable children or persons are cured.
Children with physical disabilities are buried in the sand of the beach on the occasion of solar eclipse, including in different countries of the world. Parents bury their children with the hope that the affected children or persons will be cured and their disabilities will be reduced. They come to the sea not for fun, but with some hopes in their hearts.

وگوں کا ماننا ہے کہ بچوں کو ساحل سمندر کی ریت میں دبانے سے معذور اور لاعلاج امراض میں مبتلا بچے یا افراد ٹھیک ہوجاتے ہیں۔
دنیا کے مختلف ممالک سمیت پاکستان میں سورج گرہن کے موقع پر جسمانی معذور بچوں کو ساحل سمندر کی ریت میں دبا دیا جاتا ہے۔ والدین اس اُمیدسے بچوں کو دفن کرتے ہیں کہ شاید اس عمل سے متاثرہ بچے یا افراد ٹھیک ہوجائیں گے اور ان کی معذوری میں کمی آجائے گی۔سورج گرہن کے دوران کراچی کے ساحل سی ویو پر بھی کچھ ایسے ہی مناظر دیکھنے کو ملتے ہیں جو ساحل سمندر پر تفریح کی غرض سے نہیں بلکہ کچھ امیدیں دل میں لے کر آتے ہیں ۔
