𝙏𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙀𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙛𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣! 𝙊𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙘𝙖𝙡𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙃𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙮.

Hazrat Maulana Ehtesham-ul-Haq Thanvi (may Allah have mercy on him) said:

"Every profession has its own unique ailment. It is well known that a tailor may steal fabric scraps; but if Allah grants him honesty, then SubhanAllah! A jeweler has a different ailment, a food seller has his own ailment, and a few professions are such that their practitioners break promises yet don’t even consider it blameworthy.

𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗵 𝗔𝗹𝗺𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘆 𝘀𝗮𝘆𝘀:
“𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗹 [𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆] 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁. 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗱, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 [𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲] 𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗱.”

Fulfill your promises, for on the Day of Judgment and in the Hereafter, where one will be held accountable for other things, promises will also be questioned."

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝟏𝟗𝟒𝟕

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐓𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲

Hazrat Maulana Ehtisham-ul-Haq Thanvi (may Allah have mercy on him) said:

In 1947, when people came to Pakistan, everyone’s hearts were turned towards Allah.
Everyone used to say: "O Allah! We left our homes, our businesses, we gave up everything—only for the sake of Your religion. Now, we want to see the greatness of Your Deen in this country. Now we want to establish Your religion."

Our attitude was like this, and Allah’s response (His divine help and power) was also like this. But when our actions changed, even our circumstances changed—from Allah’s side as well.

𝐏𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧: 𝐁𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲
Hazrat Maulana Ehtisham-ul-Haq Thanvi (may Allah have mercy on him) said:

"This was the very Pakistan where people used to migrate after hearing stories of its affordability. I remember, when I was going to Madras, a gentleman in Bombay said to me: 'Sir! The amount it costs us to buy a cup of tea here, that same amount is enough to fill one's stomach in Pakistan.'

My friends! Tell me honestly — has Allah reduced the air? Has He decreased the rain? What has He lessened? Honestly, nothing has been reduced. It's just that when our hearts were turned towards Allah, He bestowed His blessings upon us. And since our hearts have changed, Allah’s way of dealing with us has also changed.

Hazrat Maulana Ehtisham ul Haq Thanvi (Rahmatullah Alaih) said:
"Today the question is being raised that the family should not be big, and there should not be many children — this is a worldly perspective, a materialistic view! This is based on the belief that the resources of food and drink in the world are limited, and we must reduce the number of people!
I believe that creating life in the universe is the work of Allah, and providing sustenance is also the work of Allah. I do not consider Allah to be so disorganized that He would not know how limited the resources of food and drink are, and yet continues to create human beings.

Hazrat Maulana Ehtesham-ul-Haq Thanvi (may Allah have mercy on him) said:In a class, there are many boys who are ignorant. They don't know what their teacher has taught them, they don't even worry about memorising the lessons — but there are also those them who are intelligent. Rather than only memorising lessons from the textbook, they also learn by observing their teacher's movements — how he sits, how he behaves with others, how he speaks, his tone — they learn from all these things and become sensible students.(Bayanat e Jumuah, 19th Safar / December 16, 1977)

Hazrat Maulana Ehtisham-ul-Haq Thanvi (Rahmatullah Alaih) said:

“Remember this: any incident that occurs in the world — whether good, bad, liked, disliked, inspiring or hateful — observe it.
But my friends! Every incident that gives you a lesson is worth looking at. If it doesn’t give a lesson, then mere eyes are not enough; what is needed are the eyes of the heart, which are called insight.”
