By connecting the global community, AIM continues to lead the standards, education and advocacy efforts needed for economic competitiveness. We continue to see companies within the AIM industry working together to provide a collective voice on regulatory and policy issues worldwide. This collaborative global influence not only strengthens the industry, but also provides a climate ripe for emerging technologies and innovation. Involvement in AIM, both locally and globally, is the only way for our industry to continue to grow and prosper as we have done in the past. With active participation in several industry events, as well as addition of a new technical committee for Internet of Things, AIM is actively working to provide opportunities for its members in every ecosystem of the industry. AIM is truly a global effort to promote automatic identification, data collection and mobile solutions for all stakeholders. While AIM may host its headquarters in the United States, our activities around the globe are many…and growing. We have chapters throughout the world and will be engaging local organizations in other countries that are not currently involved to join this global effort.
