Wasim Akram

is a Pakistani cricket commentator, coach, and former cricketer and captain of the Pakistan national cricket team. Akram is widely regarded as one of the greatest fast bowlers of all time, and several critics regard him as the greatest left-arm fast bowler in cricket history. He is often revered as The Sultan of Swing (Urdu: سوئنگ گیند کا سُلطان).m...... In October 2013, Wasim Akram was the only Pakistani cricketer to be named in an all-time Test World XI to mark the 150th anniversary of Wisden Cricketers' Almanack. As captain, he led Pakistan to the finals of the 1999 Cricket World Cup, where they lost to Australia by 8 wickets.

Aamir Zaki
(April 8th, 1968 - June 2nd 2017)
was a Saudi born Pakistani guitarist-songwriter and composer. Zaki is widely considered by many as one of the most influential guitarists in Pakistan's history and is considered to be among the pioneers of rock music in Pakistan.
Zaki started out his music career with a band named The Scratch in 1987. Their first album was entitled The Bomb, with the title track being about the Empress Market bomb blast. He later quit The Scratch in 1988 to form his own band.
The first mainstream musician to recognise Zaki as a teenage prodigy was Alamgir, who got in touch with him to tour India, Dubai, England and the United States. After touring, Zaki played on two of Alamgir's albums. "Keh De Na" and "Albela Rahi" were two singles with Zaki as the lead guitarist.

An earthquake occurred on 31 May 1935 between 2:33 am and 3:40 am at Quetta, Balochistan, British India (now part of Pakistan), close to the border with southern Afghanistan. The earthquake had a magnitude of 7.7 Mw and anywhere between 30,000 and 60,000 people died from the impact. It was the deadliest earthquake to strike South Asia until 2005.
