Devastating flash floods and landslides triggered by torrential rains have wreaked havoc across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, claiming at least 146 lives and injuring dozens.
The PDMA confirmed 126 men, 8 women, and 12 children among the dead, with 35 homes damaged—28 partially destroyed and 7 completely swept away.
In Buner district alone, 120 bodies** have been recovered as rescue teams battle damaged roads, collapsed mobile networks, and cut-off communication lines. Authorities warn the toll may rise as remote areas remain inaccessible.
