More than 44,000 pilgrims from Pakistan have arrived in Saudi Arabia for Hajj 2026 as the pre-Hajj flight operation continues, according to the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony.
Officials stated that 44,908 pilgrims have reached Saudi Arabia through 176 flights so far, with thousands currently staying in Mecca and Medina. Additional flights are continuing to transport more pilgrims, while the operation is expected to continue until May 21.
The government is providing accommodation, transport, food, and medical facilities to ensure smooth arrangements for pilgrims. Pakistan has been allocated a quota of 179,210 pilgrims for this year’s Hajj season under an agreement with Saudi Arabia.
