Shah Abdul Latif University Officials Attend Five-Day Capacity Building Program
Three officials from Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU), Khairpur, recently participated in a five-day Capacity Building Program for University Management.
The training was organized by the National Academy of Higher Education (NAHE) in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Islamabad, and hosted at Shaikh Ayaz University, Shikarpur.
The participating officials Mr. Qalander Bux Bozdar, Mr. Khadim Hussain Mangenjo, and Mr. Waledad Shaikh, engaged in intensive sessions designed to enhance their administrative and managerial skills. Key modules covered during the program included Public Sector Development Project (PSDP) Management Life Cycle, Federal & Provincial Procurement Procedures, and Financial Management Best Practices.
Distinguished experts served as resource persons, including Mr. Mubashir Banoori (Technical Advisor, Ministry of Federal Education, Islamabad), Mr. Safdar Shah (Former Director, Auditor General of Pakistan), Mr. Moeid Sultan (Director Finance, IBA Karachi), and Dr. Salma Nazar Khan (Assistant Professor & HEC Resource Person). Their insights provided valuable guidance on efficient university governance and compliance with regulatory frameworks.
The SALU officials expressed deep appreciation to Vice Chancellor Meritorious Professor Dr. Yousuf Khushk for enabling their participation in this professional development initiative.
