Remote work meetings are basically:

“Can you hear me?”
“You’re on mute.”
“Sorry, my internet lagged.”
“Who’s sharing the screen?”
“Let’s circle back.”

But somehow… work still gets done. 😂

The funny part is that remote meetings actually have a lot of benefits:

• No long office commute.
• Attending meetings in hoodies is socially accepted.🤷🏻‍♀️
• AI notes save the people who mentally checked out after 5 minutes.
• Global teams can work together from anywhere.
• You can secretly enjoy chai during serious discussions. ☕

Of course, there are struggles too:
One person always freezes mid-sentence looking like a paused YouTube video. 🫣😆

Still, remote work meetings have become the new normal - chaotic, funny, sometimes unnecessary, but surprisingly productive. 👩🏻‍💻

Have you ever heard this?

I hear this a lot, and I get why it looks that way from the outside. No commute, no physical labor, just me and a screen. But what you don’t see is the hours spent turning raw clips into a story that actually makes people feel something.

The constant back-and-forth, the revisions, the tiny details no one notices until they’re wrong. The pressure of deadlines, the late nights fixing “just one more thing,” and the mental switch it takes to stay creative on demand.

Being a video editor isn’t just sitting, it’s thinking, problem solving, storytelling, and sometimes starting over when something doesn’t feel right. It’s learning new tools, keeping up with trends, and making sure every second on screen has a purpose.

So yes, I do sit in front of a laptop… but behind that screen is a lot of work you don’t always see. And honestly, I wouldn’t trade it for anything. ✨

I don’t know how long I waited for this one simple workspace. I mean, we all do right?

“Simple,” people might say, but for me, it’s never been simple. For so long, I worked without a proper setup, moving from one corner of the house to another. It was always just me and my laptop, trying to make things happen wherever I could.

But that’s how we build ourselves, slowly, patiently. Growth takes time, and every small step counts. And I truly believe that Allah always rewards sincere effort in the most beautiful ways. 🤲🏼❤️

No matter the situation, there’s always something to be grateful for.

Whenever I have done something with my whole heart, I have always been successful, Alhamdulillahh!! 🙏🏻

When I look back at my life, I see countless certificates that I achieved through my hard work and passion, especially in sports.

Struggle has always been a part of my life, but I still gave some of my best performances at the regional level in sports.✨

And now, in my video editing journey, Alhamdulillah, I am achieving so much. Alhamdulillah!!

The only purpose of this post is to say that when you do something with sincerity and hard work, it is simply not possible to fail.

So whatever you do, do it with your heart and put in the effort. The rest is in Allah’s hands, He is the One who grants success. ❤️

Struggle & Faith 🙏🏻❤️

Back in 2019, I had never even imagined that I would become a creative professional, I had always dreamed of becoming an athlete. But then the coronavirus pandemic changed everything.

During that time, I discovered my interest in video editing. What started as curiosity gradually turned into a passion. Through consistent effort, challenges, and growth, I continued pushing forward, and today, I’ve reached a point where I am building my own personal brand.

I will always remain grateful for every step of this journey. Alhamdulillah for everything! ❤️

Is it really that wrong to ask for a project’s budget before agreeing to it?

An hour ago, I had a meeting with a marketing agency. Before anything was finalized, the person asked if I was available to start a project today or tomorrow. I said not today, but I could consider tomorrow if they shared the budget and further details.

He responded, “Budget? Ye hamare Pakistani bhi na…”
I stayed quiet and was honestly left speechless.😶

Is it really wrong to ask for the budget? We can only say yes or no to a project after knowing what it offers. If the budget doesn’t suit us, of course we won’t take it. And if it does, we’ll commit to it fully.✅

Isn’t that reasonable?
