📢 A Remarkable Initiative by the Education Department, Government of Sindh 🇵🇰✨
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Honourable Syed Sardar Shah, Minister for Education & Literacy, Government of Sindh, for this visionary step in advancing teacher development across the province.
The School Education and Literacy Department (SE&LD), Government of Sindh has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with the British Council Pakistan to provide continuous professional development to 30,000 Primary and Early Childhood Education teachers and 1,000 mentors through a digital platform, under the "English as a Subject for Teachers and Educators – EaST II" program. 📚💻
The signing ceremony of this landmark initiative was co-chaired by the Honourable Minister for Education & Literacy and Mines & Mineral Development, Mr. Syed Sardar Shah, and Ms. Helen Silvester, Regional Director South Asia, British Council.
The LOI was formally signed by the Secretary SE&LD, Government of Sindh, and Mr. James Hampson, Country Director, British Council Pakistan.
