PMDC E-Kachhari – Key Updates on MDCAT 2025
The Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC) has announced important updates regarding MDCAT 2025 session.
The MDCAT will be conducted at the End of September 2025.
The test will be paper-based.
Candidates will have 3 hours to solve 180 MCQs.
The total number of questions decreased from 200 to 180.
A provisional MDCAT may also be held (further details to be announced).
A revised syllabus will be introduced and is expected to be uploaded by the End of May 2025.
The MDCAT registration portal will open by the End of July 2025. Registration will require the candidate's CNIC/B-Form number (father's CNIC will not be used).
There will be domicile restriction. A student can appear in the MDCAT of same province/admitting university as his/her domicile.
Test will be conducted through admitting universities of provinces. PMDC has prepared a Question Bank for uniformity of test.
MDCAT result is valid for 3 years. The score validity is currently under review in the Supreme Court of Pakistan, and any changes will be updated accordingly.
This year, test center will not be established in Dubai.
Candidates are advised to prepare according to the revised syllabus and plan accordingly.
