:وائس چانسلرپنجاب یونیورسٹی پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد علی نے کہا ہے کہ سب کو مل کر خواتین کیلئے محفوظ معاشرہ تشکیل دینے میں اپنا کردار ادا کرنا ہوگا۔ ان خیالات کا اظہارانہوں نے پنجاب یونیورسٹی شعبہ میڈیا اینڈ ڈیویلپمنٹ کمیونیکیشن کے زیر اہتمام پنجاب ویمن پروٹیکشن اتھارٹی کے اشتراک سے خواتین کے عالمی دن کی مناسبت سے الرازی ہال میں منعقدہ خصوصی تقریب سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے کیا۔ اس موقع پر چیئرپرسن پنجاب ویمن پروٹیکشن اتھارٹی حنا پرویز بٹ،چیئرپرسن شعبہ میڈیا اینڈ ڈیویلپمنٹ کمیونیکیشن ڈاکٹر عائشہ اشفاق،ڈائریکٹر جنرل پنجاب ویمن پروٹیکشن اتھارٹی کلثوم ثاقب، ڈائریکٹر ہیومن رائٹس کمیشن آف پاکستان فرح ضیا ء،شرکت گاہ کی پروگرام ڈائریکٹر حمیرا ممتاز،سی ای او پنک ربن آرگنائزیشن عمر آفتاب، معروف اینکر اور براڈکاسٹ جرنلسٹ زنیرہ اظہر، اساتذہ اور طلباؤطالبات نے بڑی تعداد میں شرکت کی۔ اپنے خطاب میں وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد علی نے کہا کہ تعلیم یافتہ بچیوں کے لئے ان وجوہات کا جاننا ضروری ہے جو انہیں مضبوط بنانے کیلئے اہم ہیں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ خواتین کی مضبوطی کے لئے ان کا معاشی طورپر مستحکم ہونا ضروری ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ ایک ماں کی تعلیم اس لئے بھی ضروری ہے کہ وہ معاشرے کی تربیت کا باعث ہوتی ہے۔انہوں نے کہا کہ دیہاتی خواتین اپنے گھر کی معیشت کی 80فیصد شیئر ہولڈرہونے کے باوجود رقم کے حصول میں مردوں کی محتاج ہیں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ خواتین کو مساوی حقوق کے ساتھ عزت و احترام دینابھی ضروری ہے۔انہوں نے خواتین کے حقوق کے حوالے سے منعقدہ تقریب کے انعقاد پر منتظمین کی کاوشوں کو سراہا۔حنا پرویز بٹ نے کہا کہ حکومت خواتین کوتشد د سے پاک ایسے معاشرے کے قیام کے لئے کوشاں ہے، جہاں انہیں سفری، تعلیمی، صحت، روزگار، کھیل سمیت تمام سہولیات میسر ہوں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ وزیر اعلیٰ پنجاب مریم نوازنے اپنی تقریر میں خواتین کو ریڈ لائن قرار دیتے ہوئے اس عزم کا اظہار کیا تھا کہ خواتین کی زندگیوں کومحفوظ بنانے کے لئے حکومت ہر سطح پراقدامات کرے گی۔انہوں نے کہا کہ خواتین کیلئے سوشل میڈیا سمیت آواز بلند کرنے کے کئی پلیٹ فارمز موجود ہیں۔انہوں نے کہا کہ گھریلو تشدد کا آغاز ہمیشہ چھوٹی موٹی باتوں سے ہوتا ہے جنہیں نظر انداز کیا جاسکتا ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ ہمارے نوجوانوں کو امن کا سفیر بننا ہے تاکہ خواتین خود کو ہر جگہ محفوظ اور بااعتماد سمجھ سکیں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ بچوں کی تربیت کی زیادہ ترذمہ داری ماں پر عائد ہوتی ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ گھریلو خواتین پر تشدد کو چار دیواری کا مسئلہ سمجھ کر دبا دیا جاتا تھا مگر 2016ء میں پنجاب ویمن پروٹیکشن ڈیپارٹمنٹ کے قیام سے اب تک خواتین کے حقوق، آزادی اور حفاظت کے لئے کئی اقدامات اور قوانین بن چکے ہیں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ عورت کو معلوم ہونا چاہیے کہ اب اس پر تشد د کرنے والے مرد کو گھر چھوڑ کر جانا پڑتا ہے۔انہو ں نے کہا کہ پاکستان میں آبادی کا 52فیصد ہونے کے باوجود خواتین کی آواز اتنی بلند نہیں۔ڈاکٹر عائشہ اشفاق نے کہا کہ پاکستان میں حقیقی تبدیلی اس وقت آئے گی جب ہم فرد کی سوچ کو بدلنے پر توجہ دیں گے۔انہوں نے کہا کہ معاشرتی رویوں میں موجود دقیانوسی تصورات اور پرانے طرزِ فکر کو توڑنا ضروری ہے، ہمیں یہ سمجھنا ہوگا کہ خواتین کی عزت، مساوی حقوق اور ان کی حفاظت کسی رعایت یا احسان نہیں بلکہ معاشرتی ذمہ داری ہے۔انہوں نے کہا کہ جب ہر شخص اپنے گھر، دفتر اور سماجی حلقے میں مثبت رویہ اپنائے گا تو ایک زنجیر ٹوٹے گی اور نئی سوچ جنم لے گی۔انہوں نے کہا کہ یہی سوچ ہمیں ایک ایسا معاشرہ بنانے میں مدد دے گی جہاں خواتین اعتماد کے ساتھ اپنی صلاحیتوں کو بروئے کار لا سکیں اور ملک کی ترقی میں برابر کا حصہ ڈال سکیں۔ انہوں نے شرکاء کا شکریہ ادا کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ خواتین کے مساوی حقوق کے لئے آگاہی پھیلانے میں شعبہ اپنا کردار ادا کرتا رہے گا۔
