Sunday is officialy a family breakfast day, especially for the people who are on the grind whole week. As my wife and I both work and are busy mostly during the weekdays, our family usually treat us on Sundays with specialities. By family , I mean either my mother or her mother or...my mother in law or her mother in law...same thing..lets move forward 👀

This sunday, it was a treat from my mother in law as the parathas mentioned above are an outcome of a very old and delcious recepie handed over to her by her mother in law. I believe many of you must have tried this before but it was a first time for me. These parathas are actually filled with raw uncooked mince (kacha qeema) and then cooked to a golden brown crisp perfection on a low yet consistent heat so that the qeema/ mince mixture is cooked completely without burning the paratha. It is a time-heat dependent kinda thing which needs perfection over time. Well, mothers are mothers and whom are we kidding.. no one can match their food, the taste in their cooking and especially the love n care they put in. I, being the first time trier of these scrumptious crisp meat filled parathas, really enjoyed the delicacy and hope to be catered in future too.
P.S. hope my wife's reading this ...Particularly the last lines 😌

I will keep it to the point because there is nothing much to say.
It definitely isn't what it used to be. I had tried it back in 2015, I guess.. it was much better. It is, for sure, not good at all. Highly disappointed.
The better dish that night was the mutton handi.

Chicken Ginger Handi wasn't good at all. Didn't feel any ginger taste on chicken or gravy.

Kastoori boti was bad ! Like actually bad. It was dry, hard, tasteless and not even proper in shape. Totally opposite to what an actual kastoori boti looks and feels like.

The gourmet restaurant in Faisal town is much better than this. Even the gourmet restaurant in the DHA named 'gourmet grill' is better, but this particular one is bad.

Visited this place after a long time...just to check on it. I had a few favourite dishes once upon a time from here, but to my dismay, it didn't come close to the taste it had in its heyday. They have, no doubt, lost it.

The pizza wasn't good at all...not my type and not even tasty. Huge pieces of tomatos on it...are you serious? Who does that now !!
It is a margherita pizza, guys..atleast see a recepie on the Internet. However, their take on this is not good. It was soft fluffy doughy and floppy.

Chicken Pot Pie was a bit better than the rest of the dishes. It was fresh, creamy and hot covered with a fine puff pastry. I have had better ones in Lahore though. ETH's is much better btw.

Crumbed Chicken, being one of the hits of this place in its heyday was pathetic. The crumbed, supposedly, was actually a hard shell containing a little chicken breast filled a very little amount of cheese etc. Too bad.

The only things you can still have here are the drinks. The chocolate shake and coffee were really good. Definitely and surprisingly something I would go there again for.

This place needs no introduction in the world of Desi, Lahori savory Pathooray Chanay.

One of the finest...or should I say one of two bestsellers in Lahore. The other is Kaka pathooray channay.
This place is my personal favourite since beginning of dawn i.e. since I ate it for the first time back in 2008. Eversince, no other place came close.
Those who haven't tried it yet, please give it a shot. It is super amazing.

With only 5 main course dishes in the menu, Dahlia is making noise in Lahore's eating scene. I must say that the place is actually really different from many restaurants when it comes to ambiance, seating arrangements and vibe. It is unique, undoubtedly !

As far as the food is concerned, this is the only place I have been to which is serving detroit style pizza and that too in its true spirits. However, the toppings are default..which means dont have options to select from..it is what it is.. it comes with chicken and ricotta mainly. But what you get is really delcious!! The crust is fluffy yet crispy and super fresh.

Pasta was good too..right amount of sauce...not too dry and not too saucy.

The winner of the show is that Marrakesh dish. Loved it to every bit. The sauce on the grilled & herbed chicken is just amazing. Rating 8.5

Didn't like the burger that much. It didn't have a patty, It had slices of beef and the bun wasnt buttered. It is not a burger place thats for sure. Rating 6.2

I believe it is definitely a good place. They need to add a couple of more dishes to the menu. Definitely a go to place.

O-Rating: 7.2 (MAMA sweet corner)

A very good underrated place in Lahore which deserves a shout out. Although this place is quite famous in the area it is situated at, it needs love from Lahoris of every vicinity of Lahore.
The items are made all fresh and hot. Food is light, easy on gut and tasty. Definitely recommended.

Rating: 6.2

Only rating the fish. It's Cod..not Rahu not Baam. I actually liked the taste I mean not really a fan but a good option if you dont wanna hasle with the bones and 'Kaantay'.
It is well marinated and fried on pan in mustard oil. It is not deep fried, another reason I like it for. However, doesn't compete with the taste of Rahu but still given the benefits, a good option.

Average Burger ! The patty was so thin, buns were soggy..tasted fine.
These are some short statements I would like to define this burger with.
Stop reading fake ass reviews with so fu**in edited pics. This is real..Diningdecision is real !!
Not better than Daily Deli, not better than Ministry of Burgers, definitely not better than SMASH, not better than Contra, not better than Cosa & Rina.
I don't know why influencers and reviewers with huge number of followers do this.
" guys, sahi review dena shuru krdo please logon k paas time aur paisy ki kami hai"

It is just an average burger with soggy buns and thin patty.
