School is about to begin — so before backpacks are packed and alarms start ringing, have the conversation that matters most.

Remind your kids:

It’s never okay to mock how someone talks, walks, dresses, or learns.

Not the child who wears the same clothes every day.
Not the one with the quiet voice and nervous eyes.
Not the one who always eats alone or brings the same lunch.
Not the one who needs extra time, extra help, or extra kindness.
Not the one who’s left off the guest lists or sits alone at recess.

Teach them to choose kindness — every time.

To smile back when someone shy says hi.
To say “there’s room here” and make space.
To notice the lonely kid — and invite them in.
To stand up when others tear someone down.
To be the reason someone believes the world can be soft and good.

Because what we teach at home doesn’t stay at home —
it follows them into hallways, classrooms, lunchrooms, and locker-lined walls.

Kindness is taught.
So is cruelty.

And the world is already far too heavy with the second.

Let’s raise kids who lighten it.
Let’s raise kids who reach out, lift up, and never laugh at someone else’s pain.

چیونٹیوں کی بستی: انسان کی حقیقت اور اس کا درس
اللہ تعالیٰ نے انسان کو "أَفَلا تَتَفَكَّرُونَ" (الاعراف: 185) یعنی کیوں نہیں سوچتے، کا حکم دیا ہے۔ یہ دعوت فکر ہمیں اپنی حقیقت اور اس کی اہمیت کو سمجھنے کی طرف مبذول کرتی ہے۔ اگر ہم غور کریں تو ہمیں زندگی میں بہت سے ایسے نشانات اور حکمتیں ملتی ہیں جو اللہ کی تخلیق کے نظام کو سمجھنے میں ہماری مدد کرتی ہیں۔

چیونٹیوں کی بستی میں جب ایک چیونٹی مر جاتی ہے، تو اس کی موت کی خبر آس پاس کی چیونٹیوں کو فوراً نہیں ہوتی۔ یہ عمل ایک طویل عرصہ تک خالی رہتا ہے، یہاں تک کہ تیسرے دن جب اس کے جسم سے اولیک ایسڈ کی بو آتی ہے، تب جا کر مزدور چیونٹیاں اس کے جسم کو اٹھا کر بستی کی کچرا کنڈی میں پھینک دیتی ہیں۔ اس منظر سے انسان کے ذہن میں سوال اٹھتا ہے کہ چیونٹیوں کا ایسا نظم و ضبط اور خود کار سسٹم کس طرح کام کرتا ہے؟

یہ واقعہ ہمیں یہ سبق دیتا ہے کہ اللہ کی تخلیق کا ہر حصہ ایک مقصد کے تحت ہے۔ چیونٹیاں اپنے دائرہ کار میں اتنی محنت کرتی ہیں کہ ان کے کام کا پورا نظام بغیر کسی خلل کے چلتا رہتا ہے۔ "إِنَّ اللَّـهَ لا يُضِيعُ أَجْرَ الْمُحْسِنِينَ" (التوبہ: 120) یعنی اللہ تعالیٰ نیکوکاروں کا عمل ضائع نہیں کرتا۔ چیونٹیاں شاید ہمیں معمولی نظر آتی ہیں، لیکن ان کی موجودگی اس دُنیا کے توازن میں ایک اہم کردار ادا کرتی ہے۔

چیونٹیوں کا کردار اور انسان کی حقیقت
ایک چیونٹی کی عمر صرف تین سے چھ ماہ تک ہوتی ہے، مگر اس دوران وہ اتنی محنت کرتی ہے کہ کئی سالوں کی خوراک جمع کر لیتی ہے۔ ان کا کردار اس قدرتی نظام میں اہم ہے کیونکہ وہ نہ صرف صفائی کرتی ہیں بلکہ بہت سی دوسری مخلوقات کے لیے خوراک کا انتظام بھی کرتی ہیں۔ "وَفِي السَّمَاءِ رِزْقُكُمْ وَمَا تُوعَدُونَ" (الذاريات: 22) یعنی تمہارا رزق آسمانوں میں ہے، اور وہ تمہیں مل کر رہے گا۔

اگر ہم چیونٹیوں کی بستی سے سبق لیں تو ہمیں یہ سمجھنا چاہیے کہ ہم سب کا اس نظام میں اپنا کردار ہے۔ چیونٹیاں اس سسٹم کی صفائی کرتی ہیں، اور اسی طرح انسان کا کردار اس دنیا میں اللہ کے حکم کو مانتے ہوئے نظام کی بہتری کے لیے ہونا چاہیے۔

اگر آج دنیا سے تمام چیونٹیاں ختم ہو جائیں تو اس کے اثرات فوراً محسوس ہوں گے۔ زمین کا نظام بگڑ جائے گا، خوراک کی کمی ہو گی اور کائنات کا توازن متاثر ہو گا۔ لیکن اگر انسان غائب ہو جائے تو دنیا کی کارروائیاں اس کے بغیر بھی چلتی رہیں گی۔ "إِنَّ اللَّـهَ قَادِرٌ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ" (الطلاق: 3) یعنی اللہ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے۔

انسان کا کردار: اشرف المخلوقات؟
انسان کو "أَفَلا تَشْكُرُونَ" (الرحمن: 13) یعنی کیوں شکر نہیں کرتے، کا پیغام دیا گیا ہے۔ انسان کی بقا کا کوئی تعلق اس دنیا کے نظام سے نہیں، بلکہ اس کا تعلق صرف اپنی بقاء سے ہے۔ انسان نے قدرتی وسائل کو اس دوڑ میں جمع کرنا شروع کیا کہ جتنی زیادہ دولت اور وسائل اکٹھے ہوں، اتنی زیادہ اہمیت ہوگی۔ "يَحْسَبُ أَنْ مَالَهُ أَخْلَدَ" (اللیل: 3) یعنی انسان اپنے مال کو ہمیشہ کے لیے سمجھتا ہے۔

لیکن اس دوڑ میں انسان یہ بھول گیا کہ اس کا مقصد صرف اپنی بقا نہیں، بلکہ اس دنیا کی بہتری میں اپنا کردار ادا کرنا بھی ہے۔ اس کی مثال اُس دن کی طرح ہے جب انسان کو جنازے پر پتا چلتا ہے کہ کسی شخص کی بیماری کا عرصہ کتنا طویل تھا، مگر ہم نے اس کی خبر نہ لی۔ "وَقُولُوا لِلنَّاسِ حُسْنًا" (البقرة: 83) یعنی لوگوں سے اچھا برتاؤ کرو، اللہ کے پیغام کو لوگوں تک پہنچاؤ۔

چیونٹیوں سے سیکھنے کا درس: وقت اور ہمدردی
"إِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ إِخْوَةٌ" (الحجرات: 10) یعنی مومن ایک دوسرے کے بھائی ہیں۔ ہمیں ایک دوسرے کا خیال رکھنا چاہیے، جیسے چیونٹیاں اپنے مجتمع ہونے کے باوجود ایک دوسرے کے ساتھ تعاون کرتی ہیں۔ ان کا اپنے محنتی کردار سے یہ سبق ملتا ہے کہ ہم بھی دنیا میں دوسروں کے ساتھ تعاون کریں، ان کے دکھ درد میں شریک ہوں اور زندگی کی دوڑ میں ایک دوسرے کو وقت دیں۔

اگر ہم اپنی زندگی میں یہ سمجھ پائیں کہ وقت کی اہمیت کیا ہے، تو ہم دوسروں کو وقت دے کر اپنی زندگی کو بہتر بنا سکتے ہیں۔ ہمیں یہ شعور ہونا چاہیے کہ ہم فقط اپنی بقاء کے لیے اس دنیا میں نہیں ہیں، بلکہ ایک دوسرے کے کام آنا، ایک دوسرے کی مدد کرنا اور ایک دوسرے کے دکھ سکھ میں شریک ہونا ہماری زندگی کا مقصد ہونا چاہیے۔

"وَتَعَاوَنُوا عَلَى الْبِرِّ وَالتَّقْوَىٰ" (المائدة: 2) یعنی نیکی اور تقویٰ کے کاموں میں آپس میں تعاون کرو۔

نصیحت:
"أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ" (الأنعام: 95) یعنی کیا تم عقل سے کام نہیں لیتے؟ یہ سوال انسان کے سامنے ہے، اور یہ دعوت فکر ہے کہ ہم اپنی زندگی میں سچائی اور نیکی کی جانب قدم بڑھائیں۔ ایک دوسرے کے ساتھ وقت گزارنا، ایک دوسرے کی مدد کرنا اور اپنی دنیا کے توازن کو بہتر بنانا ہی انسان کا مقصد ہے۔

ختم کلام
یہ تحریر ایک دعوت ہے کہ ہم اپنے آس پاس کی مخلوقات سے، حتیٰ کہ چیونٹیوں سے، سیکھیں اور اپنی زندگی کو بہتر بنانے کے لیے اس علم کا استعمال کریں۔ اللہ کی تخلیق کا ہر حصہ ایک حکمت کے تحت ہے، اور انسان کو اپنی حقیقت اور اس کے دنیا میں کردار کو سمجھنا ضروری ہے تاکہ وہ اللہ کے راستے پر چل کر اپنی زندگی کا مقصد حاصل کر سکے۔
