Forgetting people, experiences and places is a gift from Allah. Don't revisit them again and again by seeing photographs or videos or endlessly ruminating about them/it.

After a healthy period of grieving move on. Get professional help if needed while seeking help from Allah. There are dreams to conquer, life to be lived and deeds to be done for the sake and pleasure of Allah.

This life is short.
The Qadr of Allah will unfold and no one can stop it.
Surrender and move on.

This is especially for Muslim women who hold on emotionally for far too long.

Ya Allah,
let this September be a month of Rahmah, Barakah, healing, and beautiful beginnings.

Ya Allah, enter this month with Your mercy upon us.
Forgive the sins we committed knowingly and unknowingly, and cleanse our hearts from everything that distances us from You.

Ya Allah, replace every worry with Sukoon, every sadness with Sabr, every hardship with ease, and every unanswered dua with something far better than what we imagined.

Ya Allah, open doors for us that we never thought would open.
Make a way where we see no way.
Bring opportunities, rizq, success, and blessings from places we could never expect.

Ya Allah, protect our hearts from disappointment, our minds from overthinking, and our souls from hopelessness.
Give us the strength to accept what we cannot change and the courage to keep praying for what we still hope for.

Ya Allah, bless our families, loved ones, homes, health, work, studies, relationships, and future.
Keep those we love under Your protection. Keep us away from people and situations that are harmful to us, and bring into our lives those who are sincere, kind, and good for our Dunya and Aakhirah.

Ya Allah, if there is something we are desperately waiting for, make it happen at the most beautiful and perfect time.
If it is not good for us, remove our attachment to it and replace it with something better.

Ya Allah, grant us halal rizq, financial ease, success in our efforts, and Barakah in everything we earn and do.
Never let us feel helpless or dependent on anyone but You.

Ya Allah, heal the wounds we don't talk about.
Heal the hearts that are silently hurting.
Give peace to those fighting battles nobody knows about.

Ya Allah, make this month a turning point in our lives.
Let September bring good news, answered duas, unexpected blessings, sincere smiles, peaceful nights, and beautiful reasons to say Alhamdulillah.

Ya Allah, make us closer to You than we were yesterday.
Increase our Imaan, strengthen our Salah, soften our hearts, and guide us toward everything that pleases You.

And Ya Allah, when this month comes to an end, let us look back and say:

“Alhamdulillah, Allah answered me in ways I didn't even know I needed.” 🤍

May September begin with Bismillah, continue with Sabr, be filled with Rahmah and Barakah, and end with Alhamdulillah.

Ameen Ya Rabb-ul-'Alameen. 🤲🏻❤️

Every time you remained patient when you wanted to give up.
Every prayer you continued to make when nothing seemed to change.
Every hardship you endured quietly.
Every good deed no one noticed.
Every moment you chose to trust Allah instead of losing hope.

None of it is lost.

وَاصْبِرْ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُضِيعُ أَجْرَ الْمُحْسِنِينَ

“And be patient, for indeed, Allah does not allow to be lost the reward of those who do good.”

— Qur’an 11:115

You may not yet understand why Allah has made you wait, but delay does not mean neglect. Allah sees what others cannot see, knows what your heart carries, and knows exactly what your patience has cost you.

So continue doing good. Continue making duʿā’. Continue trusting Him.

What is with Allah is never lost.

The Quran was not revealed for one nation, one race, one culture, or one generation.

It is a reminder for the whole world.

إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌ لِّلْعَٰلَمِينَ

“Surely this Qur’an is only a reminder to the whole world.”

— Qur’an 81:27

A reminder of who created us.
A reminder of why we are here.
A reminder of what is right and what is wrong.
A reminder that this life will end.
A reminder that we will return to Allah.

The Qur’an does not need us, but we desperately need its guidance.

It speaks to the believer whose faith is strong and the believer whose heart has become distant. To the one searching for truth, the one overwhelmed by this world, and the one wondering what their life is ultimately for.

And perhaps that is why Allah calls it a reminder.

Because deep within the distractions of this dunya, we forget.

We forget our purpose.
We forget the Ākhirah.
We forget how temporary everything around us really is.

So return to the Qur’an.

Read it. Reflect upon it. Allow it to correct you, comfort you and bring your heart back to Allah.

May Allah make the Qur’an the light of our hearts, the guidance of our lives, and a proof for us rather than against us on the Day we return to Him.
