The purpose of this Web TV is to create awareness among 17000 students in particular and the public at large regarding Corona Virus Pandemic. The launch of Web TV would uplift the standard of higher education culture through digital means. It would bridge the communication between teachers and students and also serve as a source of education/counseling services for citizens

It broadcasts all the

Conferences, Seminars, Symposiums, and Lectures to be held at the University. Over 17,000 students will get direct benefits from the project

Lahore College for Women University inaugurated the Climate Gala 2025 with great enthusiasm, marking the beginning of a two-day event dedicated to climate awareness, youth leadership, and women-led innovation in sustainability. The ceremony was graced by Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Uzma Quraishi and Chairman Prime Minister’s Youth Programme Mr. Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, who commended the university’s leadership in advancing climate education and women’s empowerment. Organized in collaboration with Bargad and the Forum for Dignity Initiatives (FDI), the gala brings together policymakers, academics, faith representatives, and youth advocates to promote inclusive and gender-responsive climate action, emphasizing the participation of minority communities in environmental stewardship. The Green Bazaar showcased eco-friendly innovations and sustainable products by women entrepreneurs and students. The Climate Gala will continue tomorrow with technical sessions and youth dialogues, reaffirming LCWU’s commitment to sustainability, inclusivity, and climate resilience.
