Conquered one of the most beautiful peaks of Kaghan Valley Pakistan, Makra (Spider) Peak at 3,885m after trekking through endless snow-covered trails. Around 80% of the route was still buried in snow in the month of May, making every step more exciting and challenging. The summit views, cold mountain winds, and unforgettable adventure made every moment worth it. Loved every moment of the expedition ❤️

Lahore is one of the oldest and most historic cities of South Asia, with roots stretching back over a thousand years. It rose to great importance during the era of the Mughal Empire, when it became a center of art, architecture, and culture. Later, the city came under the rule of the Sikh Empire and then the British Empire. City still has one of the oldest monuments and buildings which tell stories of the centuries. Here are some of the most famous and iconic landmarks of the Lahore city

1. Minar-e-Pakistan is a national monument located in lqbal Park, Lahore, Pakistan. The tower was built in the 1960s to commemorate the Lahore Resolution of 1940, which led to the creation of Pakistan.

2. The Badshahi Mosque is a Mughal-era imperial mosque located in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. It was constructed between 1671 and 1673 by the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb, opposite to the Lahore Fort.

3. The Lahore Fort is a citadel in the walled interior of Lahore and is spread over an area greater than 20 hectares. It contains 21 notable monuments.

4. The General Post Office (GPO) building in Lahore, located on Mall Road, is a historic, red-brick, British-era structure completed in 1887 to mark Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee. Designed by Sir Ganga Ram, it features Mughal and Victorian architecture with a prominent clock tower, serving as Pakistan's largest and most iconic post office.

5. Chauburji (meaning "four towers") is a 17th-century Mughal-era monument in Lahore, Pakistan, built in 1646 AD on Multan Road. Lahore, A city where centuries still breathe.
Lahore is not just a city; it is a living museum of South Asian history. From ancient times to modern Pakistan, countless civilizations have passed through its streets, leaving behind stories carved in brick, marble, and memory. The city has seen the rise and fall of empires — from early Hindu kingdoms to the grandeur of the Mughal era, followed by Sikh rule and the British Raj.
Lahore Fort and the Badshahi Mosque stand as powerful reminders of Mughal vision and artistry, while the Walled City echoes with tales of scholars, poets, traders, and warriors. During the colonial period, Lahore became a center of education, politics, and culture, shaping the intellectual foundation of the subcontinent.
Even today, Lahore carries its past with pride. Its food, language, architecture, and traditions reflect centuries of influence blended into one vibrant identity. In Lahore, history is not locked in books — it lives in its streets, its people, and its soul..
