Degree Verification in Pakistan – A Process That Desperately Needs Reform
In Pakistan, getting your degree verified feels harder than earning it.
A graduate must:
📜 Pay the university to issue the degree.
💰 Pay again to get it verified by the same institution.
📦 Send it to HEC for another stamp.
🚶♂️ Finally, visit MOFA to verify the HEC stamp.
Each step costs money, time, and mental energy — just to prove something already genuine.
This outdated, paper-based process exposes the lack of digital trust and coordination among our institutions.
It’s time for a centralized, digital verification system that values our graduates’ time, effort, and dignity.
