In the shadow of twilight's gentle wane,
Where whispers of sorrow weave through the pain,
A heart cries out in a silent refrain,
For love lost and found, then lost again.

Each beat a lament, each pulse a plea,
In the echoing void where dreams cease to be,
It shatters in whispers, unseen, unheard,
Like the fall of a silent, forsaken bird.

Once filled with the light of a radiant dawn,
Now cloaked in the grey of love withdrawn,
It aches in the stillness, it bleeds in the night,
Yearning for warmth in the cold moonlight.

Memories dance on the edge of despair,
Ghosts of a passion that once was there,
They linger like shadows, they fade like mist,
In the hollow where hope and anguish kiss.

The cry of a heart, so fragile and frail,
Is a song of the broken, a mournful wail,
For in every tear, in each silent scream,
Lies the remnants of love, a shattered dream.

Yet in this sorrow, a strength is born,
From the ashes of pain, a new heart is torn,
To rise from the darkness, to heal, to mend,
For even a dying heart can find life again.
