On 8th August 2025, a six member team of Sir Sagheer Nawaz, Miss Ramna Ijaz, Miss Shazia Batool, Sir Abid Hussain, Sir Usman Rafique and Sir Ali Sarfraz successfully organized a comprehensive professional development workshop for educators of Rahbar Institute Shadman, Lahore, focusing on enhancing both instructional strategies and personal effectiveness in the classroom.
The workshop covered a diverse range of topics:
Differentiated Learning: Strategies to address varied learning styles and abilities in a single classroom.
Essay Writing & Handwriting Skills: Techniques to guide students in structuring essays effectively and improving legibility.
Classroom Management & Student Discipline: Practical methods for creating a positive learning environment and maintaining order.
Emotional Intelligence: Understanding and managing emotions to build stronger teacher-student relationships.
Effective Feedback: Improving student performance through feedback.
In addition to the mix of learning, discussions and practical activities, educators were also taught about breathing techniques to manage the stress of teaching. Participants appreciated the mix of theory and practice, noting that the tools shared could be immediately applied in their classrooms. Feedback was overwhelmingly positive and the head of the institute greatly appreciated the efforts of the entire group.
