UMT Media Club is one of the most active, interactive, largest and most happening club of university of management & technology which works as the bridge for the students to connect with the real world through media and communication. It’s a unique platform for students of the university to experiment, organize and showcase their talent in the field of print, electronic, radiotic and social media
as well as film, theater and production. Through this platform students from diverse background contribute in media engagement, conducting workshops and seminars, discussion sessions, participating in various forums on media, involving public figures from media and promoting the name of university and showcase talent of students. It also deals with media coverage inside the university covering events and functions, designing and publishing of UMT-OPA news letters/magazine, movie shows and other innovative and productive activities associated to student encouragement. With the importance of print, electronic, radiotic& social media ever so growing, the UMT Media Club under the office of participants affairs (OPA) university of management and technology Lahore is set out with the highest of standards to accomplish its goals in providing the best of entertainment, from the best of our talent. Media club brings together young journalists, publishers, photographers, graphic designers, reporters, writers, RJ’S, vj’s, film makers and social media experts. From the students of UMT hunt out the raw talent, polish it to perfection, exhibit it in the most creative fashion and also cover the gape to provide a platform for the students of UMT to experiment, organize and showcase their talent in the field of print, electronic, radiotic and social media as well as film, theater and production. Feeling this gap in university environment pioneer of UMT Media Club Muhammad Ahmad Nawaz Ul Ghani request/insist to director office of participants affairs (OPA) Rana Iftikhar Ahmad to make a Media Club for UMT students where students perform their media related activities. After the recommendation of worthy rector UMT Dr.Hassan Suhaib Murad Media Club is officially announced 12th July 2012.Now UMT Media Club is one of the most active, interactive, largest and most happening club of university of management & technology. UMT Media Club has encourage students to explore new means of communication through curricula, activities and dedicated to promoting creativity & inherit talent of students via the different forms of media available to us today. Media club seeks to become the primary outlet for students who want to express themselves in different forms and polish their skills thereby streamlining their creative zeal towards meaningful end products. Media Club will not only be helpful for the people participating in the events but also for the members who constitutes the club because we committed to hunt out the raw talent, polish it to perfection, and exhibit it in the most creative fashion.
