China's Datang Group has connected the world's largest operational sodium-ion battery system in Qianjiang, Hubei Province. This 50 MW/100 MWh project, part of the Datang Hubei Sodium Ion New Energy Storage Power Station, features 42 storage containers and 21 boost converters. Saudi women at the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque participated in the historic Kiswa replacement ceremony.
